Lights.Camera.Action.

Hiihihi,
I haven't particiapted in an IFB Project since a few light years I think but I finally decided that I just have to,simply because they are so so so much of fun. This time's project is to portray a blogger's tool kit.

My blogger's tool kit contains the following:

1) Camera-duh,right? It is definitely the most essential thing for a blogger.Including me.Mine is not very cool and is a pretty basic one but well,if the shoe fits.

2) Eye makeup-My eyes are one of the things a person notices first in me [after they are over my stunted height].So,I concentrate a lot on my eyes and define them really well.My kohl pencil is veryfreaking important.I cannot survive without it.It isn't humanly possible.Second,is my eyelash curler.I don't have very long eyelashes so I like curling them up.Yep,it's freaky to look at someone do it but it does the trick.

3) Laptop- Well,obvious huh? Yeah,need to blog somewhere.Hahaha.

4) Fashion mags- Where better to look for inspiration than Vogue? Or Bazaar?

5) Notebook&Pen- I like jotting down important things while creating a look.I sketch my outfits in a notebook as well. It's like your own fashion magazine and you can look for advice in your own handbook!

6) Phone- I cannot live without my phone. So why start now?

So,that's pretty much it.Blogging has become a key part of my routine and I make sure it's in order.
I'll soon be submitting a post to Fluent Beauty. Angela Lebarte is awesome really. You must check out her blog. She has started a series of posts about fashion in the world.I'm looking forward for it and please read my post.I'll post it here as well though.Kbye now.Need to study.

CAMPAIGNS 2011 [3].

Heloololololololooo,
The final installment of the fall campaigns are out and they are friggin awesome! Like always I have posted the top five for you. Don't you just adore me?

1. Chloe

Every woman wants to be Sigrid Agren and this beautifully sick jacket makes you feel like it will transform  you into her clone. And who wouldn't like that? Chloe is known for truly beautiful clothes and this campaign sells just that.

2. Lanvin
Cat fight ads really let us down last season but this one hasn't.Not a single percent. This absolutely amazing campaign conveys that even if another woman standing right next to you is a supermodel and wearing a similar Lanvin dress, you will still look gorgeous and unique. And that's exactly what every girl looks for.

3. Prabal Gurung

This is Prabal Gurung's first ad campaign and is only set to launch online. But I have my heart set on this. It's aesthetic, really. It makes you want to jump into that dress.Divine!

4.Roberto Cavalli
"Give me a leopard dress and I'm on board. And make it Cavalli!" That's what comes to your mind first.
The composite floral background makes the campaign an eye catcher.

5. Hugo Boss

I heart Hugo Boss.
This campaign makes you want to be the one rowing the boat. With all those amazing clothes to look at,Along with the male models.

YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS.
Twilight star who I strongly believe cannot act,but is extremely pretty is going to be on the cover of W's September issue.Kristen Stewart, who usually looks quirky and tomboy-ish looks gorgeous and freaking sexy here. She look amazingly beautiful in Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Junya Watanabe. It is photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott and styled by Edward Enninful. In her interview she expresses her dilemma about bidding goodbye to her tomboy-ish look as Bella Swan.

You must check it out online. Her photos are just oh my god.I would post them but they are not getting saved, what the hell right?
Anyhow,going for dinner.So kbye.

I'm here for your entertainment.

Hellloooooo,
I told you a few posts back about Thylane Loubry-Blondeau,the 10 year old French model and about the controversies she's getting into because of her 'unappropriate' photos. And now she's in for a bit more. The French say that this kind of behaviour and clothing is not a big deal in Paris. In fact, sources say that there is an entire children’s market around mimicking women’s rituals. Also, there are smoking rooms allocated to 12-13 year olds. But this isn't the bad part, the worse bit is that this shoot is nothing compared to the pictures that French photographer and socialite Irina Ionesco took of her daughter Eva when she was between the ages of five to 15 in the 1970s. The photos showed her young daughter fully nude, legs spread, and in fetish wear at times. “But it’s art!” Irina said at the time but nothing happened then.So why begin now? It wasn't accepatable but it isn't illegal, right.
So,the French accept Blondeau photos and don't consider it obscene. What do you think?

Shifting the focus, here is an outfit I wore to this really awesome party last week.

WEARING: Grey off shoulder top, Thrift purple shorts, Claire's headband, Forever 21 belt,
Aftershock heels.

This headband is the cutest. It's so cute and silver. It can look classy with a black dress or trendy with this outfit. I'm kinda crazy about it. It's beautiful, what can I say? I mean,it's silver! Glittery silver! How is a girl to resist? Before you hit the close button,I will stop. Anyhow,I have to go and study because I'm probably going to fail otherwise. I really am and then it shall be final goodbye so no. I shall go study some economics. Loans,I tell you. That's the worst,really.Kbye.

CAMPAIGNS 2011 [2].

Hihihihihihihihihihii,
Guess whatttttt!Fall campaigns are out.And they are even awesome-er [if that is a word].Well, the point is that they are the shiz.
Ads are actually a very important component of promotion of a product,if the ad is stupid and makes no sense whatsoever, that's the impact the product makes. While some ads can be so amazing that you drool over them [literally]. It actually happens. My jaw dropped open at some of them! The campaign includes Tom Ford, Alexander Wang, Armani, and Proenza Schouler among others but I'm just going to present to you the ones that took the cake and were ranked as the best:

1. Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani’s fall campaign stopped me in my tracks. The Mert and Marcus-lensed image demonstrates an elegant and refined sexiness that perfectly fits with Armani’s nouveau luxury. It’s a very Swinton-like proposal, and we’re buying it.

2. Alexander Wang [tie]
This is exactly how you’d picture someone wearing Alexander Wang, isn’t it? Kind of tough, wet, and unafraid to get dirty. Good work, Fabien Baron.
I simply love this one.

2. Stella McCartney [tie]

Juxtaposition has always been a theme in Stella’s ads, but this season’s campaign seems to have struck the perfect balance. Playing on the idea of creating structure out of softness, the ads place sculpted shrubs as a partner for a sculpted sweater. The trompe l’oeil label adds just enough humor to make the campaign great.

3. Alexander McQueen

The epic lines at Savage Beauty and the commission for the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress have shown the McQueen brand to be more powerful than ever. These ads by David Sims starring Raquel Zimmerman are testaments to that power. With strength and lightness McQueen will continue to win over our hearts.

 4. Calvin Klein

Gorgeous photo, gorgeous Lara, gorgeous clothes. I’m pretty sure that every soul under the sun would agree with me on this one. Sure, it’s a safe bet for Calvin Klein, but when you have Lara Stone you don’t need to be crazy.

5. Tom Ford

Historically, Tom Ford ads have oscillated between naked, partially naked, and dramatic glamour. We’re excited to see that for Fall 2011 Ford has gone for a more severe look, starring Candice Swanepoel photographed by Mert and Marcus. Candice looks hot in the images, and the photography is quite alluring, but the clothes are looking a little meh.

So,that's it for now.More stuff later.Right now,my eyes are about to crawl out and go to sleep in a corner because I'm just so so so tired.I had practices all day and stuff, dont ask!
I probably won't be posting for a long time because of stupid exams and stuff,so please dont kill me.I still love you all and will try to resume as soon as possible.I cross my heart and promise.

Lagerfeld & Macy's

Hihihihihihihihihi.
The moment is here. Finally!I present to you [drumroll] Macy's and Lagerfeld.
Macy’s offered up a preview of the full line last night at a gallery space in SoHo wallpapered with black and white photos of the Kaiser looking awfully serious and campaign images featuring the always-stunning Coco Rocha photographed by Lagerfeld in his library in Paris. It is a 45 piece collection including feminine and floral, others crisper and more severe–thick tweedy separates (shorts and vests) and faux leather jackets. The simpler black and white dresses with sharp white collars stand out. It is a must see. These are some of my favourites:

Macy's is a complete brand. It's affordable yet fashionable. From collared to puffed sleeves it's all there. The collection is priced between $50 to $170 and goes on sale at 235 Macy’s across the nation and on macys.com on August 31[you should probably set a reminder].So how did you like it? Post your comments.
So,you all might have heard about Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau-the next big thing in the fashion world. But is she the next top model or is it just creepy? In her portfolio, some pictures are considered obscene because she is not wearing a top but she didn't think that would be considered offensive.Judging by the sheer number of photographs of her on the internet, she must be booking modeling jobs left and right. However, we have to call out a few of them that seem just a smidge mature for the pre-teen.For example, in a few of them she’s reclining seductively in stilettos and evening gowns and more makeup and jewelry than anyone under the age of 30 should be wearing. But others are pretty age-appropriate.You can see her photos here.
That's it for now.Have to sleep.Kbye.
